Cincinnati Public Schools has enhanced its public safety policy to include the types of bags you can bring into an athletic venue. Walnut Hills encourages fans to leave all unnecessary and prohibited items/bags & purses at home or in their vehicles to expedite security screening procedures. Approved bags: Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions. One Gallon Resealable Bag (Ziploc Bag or Similar) Small Clutch Bag/Purse 9’x6″ maximum size Prohibited Items To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to Walnut Hills, guests will not be permitted to bring the following items into athletic venues: Alcoholic Beverages Sealed bottled water is permitted, but outside food and drinks are prohibited Animals (Exception of Service Animals) Beverage Containers (Bottles & Cans, with the exception of unopened bottled water) All Coolers (Unless Medically Required) Confetti Illegal Substances Noisemakers Obscene/Indecent Clothing Segways/Motorized Scooters (Mobility Devices Are Allowed) Weapons Remote Controlled Aircrafts and Drones Any Other Items Deemed Dangerous/Inappropriate Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or be discarded. No item may be left at the gate. All other items that enter athletic venues are subject to a visual search.

Homecoming Dance Information 2026
The Homecoming dance is open to Walnut Hills students in grades 10-12 ONLY.
Non-Walnut Hills guests must also be in 10-12th grade, or under the age of 21.
All attending the dance must abide by the CPS Code of Conduct and the rules outlined in the WHHS Student Handbook
All dance attendees MUST have an ID (school or other) in order to enter the dance.
The homecoming dance is being held in the WHHS Cafeteria from 8:00pm-11:00p
Entrance to the dance will take place at the cafeteria doors off Sulsar, parking on Sulsar, or near South Field is encouraged.
