Homecoming Dance Information 2026

  • The Homecoming dance is open to Walnut Hills students in grades 10-12 ONLY.

  • Non-Walnut Hills guests must also be in 10-12th grade, or under the age of 21.

  • All attending the dance must abide by the CPS Code of Conduct and the rules outlined in the WHHS Student Handbook

  • All dance attendees MUST have an ID (school or other) in order to enter the dance.

  • The homecoming dance is being held in the WHHS Cafeteria from 8:00pm-11:00p

    • Entrance to the dance will take place at the cafeteria doors off Sulsar, parking on Sulsar, or near South Field is encouraged.

  • Doors will open at 8:00pm, and close at 8:45pm. No students or guests will be permitted to enter the dance after 8:45pm.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the dance earlier than 10:30pm, unless a parent comes to the Sulsar entrance of the cafeteria, and escorts the child home. 
  • Students must have transportation arrangements made prior to the end of the dance. Students must be off campus by 11:30pm.
  • This is a semi-formal dance. NO JEANS OR COSTUMES ARE ALLOWED. Though the theme is masquerade, students are not permitted to wear face coverings or masks into the dance.

Event Policy: All guests must follow the Walnut Hills High School Student Code of Conduct, Dress Code and Dance Protocol, as well as, the CPS Code of Conduct. It is the responsibility of the Walnut Hills students to share this information with their guests. - This event has a no refund policy.

Only one guest per Walnut Hills student is permitted. Guests must arrive and exit the dance with the Walnut Hills student they are attending with. NO GUEST WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A WHHS STUDENT.
